Fountain in Kutaisi

This Fountain in Kutaisi is located in the central square of Kutaisi (Imereti). It was built in 2011 by architecture David Gogichaishvili. Fountain has 30 gold plated statues. Statues are copies of those, which were found during archaeological excavations in Kolkhida lowland and belongs to the Kolkhida bronze culture.
“Tamada” original statue belongs to VII century BC and was found in Vani, near Kutaisi.
