Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Tbilisi City Tour
Route: Tbilisi International Airport – Tbilisi Old Town
Overnight: Tbilisi
Your private 4-day Georgia tour package from Dubai begins with a welcome at Tbilisi International Airport and a comfortable transfer to your hotel. The sightseeing schedule will be adjusted to your flight arrival time.
After check-in, explore Tbilisi’s historic centre with your guide. Walk through the atmospheric streets of the Old Town and visit Abanotubani, the famous sulfur bath district where the city was founded. Continue by cable car to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views over the tiled rooftops, the Mtkvari River and the modern city.
The tour continues along Rustaveli Avenue, home to the Georgian Parliament, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums and elegant nineteenth-century buildings. In the evening, enjoy free time for dinner and independent exploration.
Day 2: Mtskheta, Uplistsikhe and Traditional Wine Tasting
Route: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – winery – Tbilisi

Travel to Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital and one of the country’s most important spiritual centres. Visit the sixth-century Jvari Monastery, standing above the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, and the eleventh-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. The historic monuments of Mtskheta are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Continue west to Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-cut settlement shaped into the slopes above the Mtkvari River. Walk through its carved streets, halls, wine cellars and places of worship while learning how the site developed over many centuries. The paths are uneven, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
In the afternoon, visit a traditional winery or family wine cellar. Learn about Georgia’s qvevri winemaking method, in which wine is fermented in large clay vessels buried underground. Enjoy a tasting of local wines accompanied by Georgian appetizers and a hot lunch. Non-drinkers can take part in the cultural experience and request non-alcoholic drinks.
Return to Tbilisi in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi and Gergeti Trinity Church
Route: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Jvari Pass – Stepantsminda – Gergeti Trinity Church – Tbilisi
Overnight: Tbilisi
Follow the Georgian Military Highway north into the Greater Caucasus. Your first stop is Ananuri Fortress, a sixteenth- and seventeenth-century defensive complex overlooking the turquoise Jinvali Reservoir.
Continue through the mountain resort of Gudauri and cross Jvari Pass, the highest point on the route at approximately 2,395 metres. Weather permitting, stop at the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding valleys and peaks.
Arrive in Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi, and change to a local 4×4 vehicle for the ascent to Gergeti Trinity Church. Set at approximately 2,170 metres beneath Mount Kazbek, the fourteenth-century church is one of Georgia’s most recognizable mountain landmarks.
After time for photographs and a short walk around the church, return to Stepantsminda. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Tbilisi. Lunch is paid separately.
Please note: mountain visibility and access depend on current weather and road conditions. If the Kazbegi route is closed, a suitable alternative will be arranged.
Day 4: Sighnaghi, Kakheti and Departure
Route: Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Kakheti – Tbilisi International Airport
Tour end: Tbilisi International Airport
On the final day, travel to Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine-producing region. Visit Sighnaghi, a compact hilltop town known for its cobbled streets, colourful balconies and eighteenth-century defensive walls. From the town, enjoy wide views across the Alazani Valley toward the Greater Caucasus.
An additional wine tasting and lunch can be arranged in Kakheti at extra cost. Guests who do not drink alcohol may choose local food and non-alcoholic grape products instead.
Return to Tbilisi in the afternoon. Depending on your departure time, transfer directly to the airport or enjoy a short period of free time in the city before your flight.

Are flights from Dubai included in the tour price?
No. International flights are not included. The tour begins with collection from Tbilisi International Airport and ends with a return transfer to the airport.
