Overview
The most demanded and very requested tour includes Svaneti and Vardzia tour, a duration of 10 days. In these 10 days, you will enjoy the gems of Georgia, the most beautiful and interesting places in Georgia.
The tour includes the capital of Georgia Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Martvili, or Balda canyons, and exploring Svaneti for 4 days, where we also will visit the village Latali. Travel to south Georgia, Samtskhe-Javakheti region via Zekari pass, Abastumani observatory, Vardzia itself, and Javakheti plateau.
The tour includes a four-star hotel or the best possible guesthouse accommodation.

Itinerary
Day 1 Tbilisi
Meeting in Tbilisi airport.
Old Tbilisi city tour, including Freedom square, Metekhi plateau viewpoint, Shardeni street, Baratashvili avenue, Narikala fortress and Sulphur bath district.
Accommodation in hotel.
Optionally greeting dinner in restaurant.
Day 2 – Tbilisi – Kutaisi
After breakfast travel from Tbilisi to Kutaisi.
Tour Mtskheta – the ancient capital of Georgia, where we will visit monuments listed in UNESCO World Heritage sites – Jvari monastery and Svetitskhoveli cathedral.
The next destination will be Uplistsikhe, carved in the rock ancient town.
Time for lunch – We will visit a local winery to get familiar with the wines of central Georgia. Enjoy delicious lunch and wine, before continuing travel. By evening we will approach Kutaisi, a short walk downtown, and check in the hotel.
Day 3 Kutaisi – Mestia
Long travel from Kutaisi to Mestia, Svaneti.
First of all, we will visit Martvili or Balda canyon, enjoy beautiful nature and continue to Zugdidi. In Zugdidi free time for lunch in the restaurant.
Afterward, we will visit Enguri dam and enjoy the beautiful road to Mestia. Arrival in Mestia around 4 PM. Accommodation in a hotel.
Evening walk in Mestia historical districts Lanchvali and Seti.
Day 4 Ushguli tour
Ushguli is known as the highest permanently inhabitant village in Europe. Here at an altitude around 2000 m above sea level, leaves 65 families. The village is included in UNESCO World heritage sights. Drive from Mestia to Ushguli takes up to 2 hours, the road itself is very picturesque, and there will be several very interesting stops.
In Ushguli you will walk through the village itself, and enjoy old-style architecture if you wish you may visit local museums there. In the evening return to Mestia.
Day 5 Latali tour

Day 6 Tskaltubo – Kutaisi
Departure from Svaneti.
Arrival to town Tskaltubo near Kutaisi.
Visit Prometheus grotto.
Optionally possible to visit Spa in Tskaltubo, which is known as spa town.
Dinner in the winery near Kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 7 Sairme – Abastumani
In the morning Kutaisi city tour including Bagrati cathedral. Drive to Sairme resort. After Sairme mud road to Zekari pass and final destination – Abastumani. If the weather will allow, the observatory tour after darkness.
Day 8 Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia
In the morning tour in Akhaltsikhe. Visit Rabati fortress, afterwards Sapara monastery, near Akhaltsikhe. Drive to village Saro, see old houses and very ancient megalith fortress. Next destination will be Khertvisi fortress, Overnight in hotel near Vardzia.
Day 9 Javakheti
After breakfast visit, the Vardzia monastery complex before other tourists will arrive.
Afterward, drive to Tbilisi through the Javakheti plateau, and visit Sagamo and Paravani lakes, located at on altitude of around 2000 m above sea level.
By evening arrival to Tbilisi. Check-in hotel.
Day 10 Departure
Check out from hotel.
Transfer to the airport.
