Spectacular Two day tour to Kazbegi

We are starting our tour from Tbilisi and drive along Georgian military road to the north direction.
First our destination will be Jinvali water reservoir. Stunning torques artificial lake. Tbilisi gets drinking water from here.
The next destination will be nearby – it is Ananuri fortress. Georgian architecture monument of late middle ages. Ananuri used to be the gates to the mountain road, connecting central Georgia with North Caucasus.
Afterwards we will drive to the famous ski resort Gudauri. From panorama viewpoint we will enjoy fantastic view of Caucasus mountain range and sources of river Aragvi.
Next we will cross the Cross pass – altitude 2395m.
We will almost reach town Stephantsminda. But we will turn to the East and drive until village Juta.
Here we will follow short but steep trail to Zeta camping to enjoy stunning views to Chaukhi rocks.
After short relax we will return to the main road and continue to our next destination – Gveleti.
Gveleti has 2 waterfalls, which are starting from Devdoraki glacier. We will have short hike, about 1 km.
Afterwards we will check in guesthouse and enjoy dinner.

After good breakfast in the guesthouse we will drive to Gergeti Trinity church.
The church was built in XIV century and was the first relatively big church with cupola in the North Caucasus.
Gergeti trinity church and Kazbegi mountain on the background is one of the most well known icons of Georgia.
Finally we will have one more jeep ride in Truso Gorge, where we will approach mineral water valley.
After this we will drive back to Tbilisi.
