In Svaneti was built new road which connects Lower and Upper Svaneti – Lentekhi and Mestia districts. Road starts in village Chvelpi, Lentekhi region, on altitude 1100 m, highest point is Latpari pass – 2800 m, and ends in village Kala – Mestia district, altitude 1800 m.
